How did you get that fat hit at 0:49?

Thank you. I found this very helpful. I've searched for this function for quite some time but I would never figured it out by my self.
It's so darn simple when you know it... makes me feel a little bit retarded actually.

Thanks so much this was really helpful, keep it coming

I'm just learning Logic and this kind of stuff is really helpful. The music isn't too bad either! lol

@Soundslogical Hey Boss, it was a great tutorial, except..well when you were talking about the "Build up" ES2, ya didn't explain how ya made those parameters first. Like what synth preset did you start with, then what'd ya do to make that seperate(But still connected to the build up ES2) channel for the delay/AUPitch?

This is the BEST TUTORIAL on dubstep...Succint. Immediately to the point. Close up shots- illustrating key points. No superfluous intro bullshit- THIS IS THE BEST- thanks bro nuff respect always..Rock On!!!!

The drum loop from 0:21, wasn't that the drum loop you were showing us how to make in ultrabeat in the other tutorial? :)

How do you get the pitch bend thing, like where the bassline moves up in pitch a bunch? In the pitchbend parameter in the piano roll it only goes up or down a tiny bit.

@liquidgordon You can either automate the oscillators' pitch, or alternatively you can increase the amount the pitchbend parameter in the piano roll affects the pitch by changing the "bend range" parameter on the ES2, right under the glide knob.

soundin sick, m8. where can the final product be heard?
godjcraft 2 years ago
There isn't really a finished product, I was just messing around really. I make unfinished loops and track sections all the time.
