I understand the n word( even if the girl is saying it on tv) as been banished, but not the french word for it. French expressions cannot be understand while translated neither play on words. Racism is a state of mind and a jokes can be misunderstand.

@Mottahead Go tell that to my 150 immigrant students in my 99% white hometown. I'm their openly separatist teacher whom they come to when in trouble. If YOU had a bad experience YOU might be the problem. Though it is possible that you met a minority of a*holes which can be found in any society. I was a victim of anti-white racism and anti-French racism but am smart enough to know that I dealt with a minority and don't cry over it.

@lexxhare You state your opinion based on no fact at all. What I'm stating is a study from Statistics Canada: Quebec has the least racism related crimes in Canada. People have a sense of humour here. Who is complaining about that show? White Canadians, not Quebec minorities. Yvon Deschamps lived through the same as English white people complained about one of his skits titled "Nigger Black" that opposed racism but that white people protested against, not black people.

i think it has alot to do with the fact that the SQ and local police forces in quebec are made up of the most racist hicks in the province ( thank god Pauline Marois didn't become a cop ) and that for the most part they just dont really understand or think hate crimes are a big deal (unless of course it happens to a white french person at the hands of a member of a visible minority ).its like louise beaudoin said "multiculturalism might be a canadian value but not a quebec one."
