Hearts v Ross County in a quarter final tie from the 98/99 League Cup. We take the lead just before half time through Roy McBain. FT 1-1 AET then we get beat 3 nil on penalties.

We had beaten Dundee Utd 2 nil at home in the 3rd round.

Listen to Archies patronising comments about the wee team from the north.

  • I was at that Game... I remember we clapped the Ross County Players and Fans at the end. They played well..

  • Archie is the worst commentator ever!

  • One of my best mates Steve Ferguson (a fellow Jambo) was playing for County n this game and got us tickets in the Ross County end for this match. Have to admit Hearts were lucky to get through and the Ross County end was bouncing.

  • This result was a travesty. I cried myself to sleep for a week after watching the highlights on Scotsport......Ha Ha.

Whatever happened to franck escalon? the last time i saw him was in August 1999 when he scored against Dundee united midweek in a league cup tie we lost 2 - 1.

  • At least we can all go to bed without the imminent fear of pishing the bed unlike Archie.

  • Silky Football!! Shame about the Penalties!! Better team did'nt go through!!

  • Nice Vid, Archie the patronising eejit
