See what that store bought repair looks like 6, 12 or 24 months down the road. The resins in those off-the-shelf kits shrink and yellow rapidly over time. Great for the resale value of your car! You get what you pay for I guess.

@counkev Yea I know one guy who paid $128 to have this done. If your insurance covers it then great, but for the ones who cant its not cheap thats for sure. Just as easy to patch it yourself and a lot cheaper.

@stringfellowhawke247 What? They charge $100.00 for this ? I've been thinking of doing this because I have a small bulls-eye and I want to get it fixed. But really $100 I can get a new windshield for about that much.

It amazes me how they charge over $100 to do this when you can do the same darn thing yourself with the Permatex repair kit for $12-$14.
