This video shows a run on Fish Creek over ice and overflow, during a training run with sled dogs for Denali Dog Sled Expeditions. Fish Creek is along Stampede Trail, near Denali National Park, Alaska. Our sled dogs need to be reliable when traveling on ice and through overflow/water, so we often train on Fish Creek, and along the beaver pond network there. The cam was on Picard's harness, and some water splashed up on the lens, and froze due to the below 0F temps, so there is some fuzziness in the video. Water got deep enough that we exited the creek and broke trail through deep snow to get back to the Stampede Trail. Frodo was in lead, Pippin and Boomer in swing, and Bilbo was next to Picard in first team position. Overflow on this creek can get over knee-deep, and in the park over hip-deep. Fun stuff!
