Their story truly transcends all genres and all shapes of life. The principles they've carried thru their lives apply to literally everyone everywhere.

I'm just in absolute awe how truly passionate Robb and Lips have been about their music ... about their dream.

We just saw clips from a 2 year period ... but imagine LIVING those ups and own through 30+ YEARS of tragic hardship ... yet they still hold onto their dream.

It's so unbelievable and just so incredibly inspiring. Gives me chills!!!

@TheNicestNerd No,you are wrong! They're a great band,seen them live many times.The film does NOTHING in telling people how good they are live. Been going to rock gigs for 30 years,seen everyone,Anvil are one of top 3 gigs ever.

its good that they persevered and all but these guys aren't that good. even bands like megdeth dont get on radio and mtv. btw they should try living in a 3rd world country that would get things into perspective. also a lot of the parts seem scripted

If Lars Ultrarich and Slash love Anvil so much how then they couldn't throw Lipps and Robb a bone? They could have hired Anvil as an opening act or covered one of their songs. It's ironic that Anvil had a song "School Love" because Lipps' day job is delivering school lunches. I thought their manager was horrible. I think she was more of a booking agent and not a good one. But I guess she got along with the Ivan the guitar player because they married.
