Song and Lyrics written by Conall Toal. Lyrics

Grow up and get a job
Black tie suits and fancy cars
V.A.T and semi D's
Sitttin in traffic
Set me free

Pay your bills and kiss your wife
once in the mornin and twice at night
close your eyes
and dream of a time when you were innocent and free
from reality
and dream of a time when you were driven to succeed, driven to believe
driven by greed

you lived your life for greed, instead of letting your soul breathe
you're matching socks for ticking clocks, for a tapping boss with a wooden cross
you should have stayed naive... and never listen to greed

lapping shores now kiss your toes,
glistening gulls replace the crows
golden sands and salty seas
rust away your bentley's

rip the bills and kiss your wife
twice in the morning and all night

you changed your life, your free your spirit is soaring
yolu changed your life your free, your soul is sailing.
You're taking walks to slow those clocks, you're sittin on rocks and taking stock
some say your naive.. but they're just listening to greed
stay naive

  • I LOVE the lyrics. Everything about this song/video, from your voice to the fact that you played it in the back of a car makes it feel even more authentic. Can really relate to the words.

  • This song makes me remind the days of the Syd Barret's begining as the first songwriter of the Pink Floyd. If someone says it seems the Beatles 60's years, I so agree with too. The job has an interesting lyrics and a well developed melody. I definitely like this kind of acoustic rock.

Thanks sistermoonshine13 channel for sharing with me this talented job,
