download the Bitdefender keygen from

download bitdefender

Install and restart computer

turn off Network

4th open up Bitdefender Keygen

5th Generate a serial
Open up Bitdefender and press register and paste the serial into the 'Enter new Key' box.
press next
Create an account later, then click next. click finish.

Open up C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Make sure host file isnt checked as read only. To uncheck it right click on file, properties, and uncheck read only box.
Open host with notepad
Add '127.0.0.1 update.bitdefender.com'
press save under file tab.
Last turn on your internet and try updating

FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED A DEEPER DESCRIPTION WITH THE 'hosts' FILE READ HERE:
there is a file called host. To find it click on my computer. Then click on your 'Local Disc' file (C: sometimes also E: i think). When you have clicked on that click on the file called 'WINDOWS'. After you have clicked on that click on the file called 'system32'. Then you click on 'drivers'. Then click on the folder 'etc'. Then you have to right click on the file named 'hosts' and go to properties and down the bottom in the properties box were it sez Attributes make sure the 'read-only' box isnt checked. Double click it and it will ask you to open with a program. Choose 'notepad'. Then when it is opened go down to the bottom and paste '127.0.0.1 update.bitdefender.com' without the ' of course. Then click on file up the top and click save.

A QUICKER WAY TO FIND THE 'hosts' FILE IS CLICK 'start' THEN CLICK RUN AND PUT 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc' INTO THE BOX AND CLICK OK!!!

Use one of these keys doesnt matter which 1!!!!

@BonezProductionz lol I gave this to my friend also, so i know for a fact it works on more than one person, but if u look at the date this video was posted in 2008 so it wouldn't surprise me if they patched it or some shit, and why the hell are you trying to get outdated software for free any ways, if I where you i would be trying to get the latest version which is 2011

look in description down the bottom are some keys use one of them but u can just use key u gotta follow the rest of the instructions on the video
