I made this for my lab and pit bull mix, Sid. My mother was nervous when I told her I was going to take him in...It wasn't long before she realized how good of a dog he really is.
I'm still cautious of pit bulls...because due to irresponsible breeding, non socialization, and the people who raise them, you never know how each dog will react.
I personally love the breed. I've met many good pits...you just have to research and be responsible.
Sid is one of the best dogs I've ever owned. I just hate that who ever got him as a puppy abused him.
I tell you all this from research and experience. If you ever decide you want a dog...try local animal shelters...you're saving a life and gaining a best friend.
And most importantly...You're not supporting puppy mills and irresponsible breeding...That is how my Corgi ended up with one eye...

You are one of the true heros. Sid is beautiful and I am so glad there are people like you who take the chance to love an abused animal. My Rotties say 8 paws up for you.
