Makes me want to hit something with a mace! Celtic indeed. Well done.

That sounds amazing! I use GDAEA for mine (in constant fear of losing a finger!) but I still haven't quite got playing tunes down, just accompaniments. Beautiful.

tab? :)

Beautiful, simply beautiful.

They vary. I tune mine FCGDA because I am basically a fiddler. It works well for melody, but DGDGD, DADAE, DADAD, EADAE and others are also used and work better for chords.

so is the tuning modal. dgdgd, or fifths, cgdae? or your own tuning?

Is this a cittern made by Stephan Sobel?

@novasscott , no, this Cittern was made by Paddy Burgin in New Zealand.

Uuuurk
Yes, this is an acoustic cittern with a built-in pick-up; this is played through a fender acoustic amp..

sorry for the delay in answering; the tuning is DAEAE. My friend who's playing had it made by Paddy Burgin, from New Zealand. We met him at a Luthier show last year.
