I think you got the wrong information about paella, they do use onion and garlic.

Hi. I enjoyed the video.
-
i´m from spain, and THIS IS NOT a PAELLA, where is the onion?where is the fish?
-
i thought that the rice should be fried for a while w some olive oil until a bit translucent before adding the broth?
-
Oh no! Don't pour the rice in like that! It should always be poured in the shape of a cross :) (In Spain they are very superstitious!!!!) I love the video, though!!!

@ximo07 He's not a Briton.

@ximo07 i asked someone in a market in barcelona, and she suggested using chorizo.
-
@ximo07 I feel the same way Ximo.

Oh my God!! When are all you britons going to learn that SPANISH PAELLA DOES NOT HAVE CHORIZO SAUSAGE???? Chicken, rabbit, some pork (ribs), you can also put some seafood... BUT NEVER CHORIZO PLEASE!!

@singleguychef - Thank you, I can't way to try it.
I can't wait to try this recipe, however, I've never worked with saffron and I'm unsure about the saffron threads, do I need to soak them for this recipe?

@redneck4me2 You can soak them if you want and use the water instead of the broth, but I just throw my saffron threads in with the broth. But then again, I'm kind of lazy. :)
