The Talk of Paris : (Part 2 of 2) In a world increasingly dominated by English and internet giants such as Google, can the French language avoid domination? Abdou Diouf, secretary general of the organisation of French-speaking countries, gives his view.
@brown9ja Francophone culture, the French language is revered by every French speaker the world over, English-speakers don't have that approach or perception of language, it is not linked to ethnicity, nor even political. It is a common heritage we all share.

and "english" africans are not stupid because of their "english" heritage? you are talking shit.
Africa is the place where the french language grows faster on the plannet. the future of the french language could be Africa, and africans will have more and more power and influence over the french language. I think that is to be celebrated in a world that desperatly need more diverse point of views.
