Loud doesn't really got shit to do with it.

nice monte are you using tailpipe or turn downs after mufflers and did you replace or upgrade rear end for torge of engine

tailpipes and my rear end explosed one time i changed the gear and the posi and its fine now. to next time my rear end will broke i'll put my 9" ford out of a 72 mustang.
