In 1987 promotional opportunities for an 'Indie' group were few and far between. So when Felt were offered to appear on a Newcastle commercial radio station to promote a show that evening at the Riverside venue in town the group couldn't really refuse - even when they arrived to find that the DJ host had almost no knowledge of the group's background history, not even one of their records to play, couldn't pronounce their name correctly ("The Felt") and seemed to be from the hyper, had-too-many Refreshers Timmy Mallett school of presenting...

correct me if I'm wrong, cause my English is not very good, but when Lawrence is asked about his favorite concert during last six years, he answers "Barcelona (Catalonia)", and then says that the Barcelona concert was filmed, edited, and shown on TV (probably TV3, or perhaps a Spanish TV channel). Is that true? I mean, did he said that the Barcelona concert circa 1985 was filmed and aired on TV? Cause if that's true I'm gonna start looking for it right now

Agreed - this dj is a colossal tosser. "The Felt" indeed.  He sounds like a giant, irritating child throughout. I'd kill for that edited show from Barcelona tv...
