I don't know if WWF technically owns Real American, only the Derringer version of it. When Hogan did the show in Memphis vs. Big Show, they were playing Real American in the background of one of his promos but with Jimmy Hart on vocals.

@ThePoliticalToons Real American was originally suppose to be used for Barry Windham & Mike Rotundo

@Ant1Live Rick Derringer sang Real American. It was actually intended as a very serious political song, but Hogan used it as his entrance and today people only think of Hulk Hogan when they hear it. Good or bad. It would kind of be like if Hogan used "Born in the USA" as his entrance instead.. I guarantee you that if he did and you heard it today, you would think of hogan not Springsteen.

@Ant1Live Vince McMahon.

@Ant1Live Hart didn't sing either to my knowledge but I know he gotta some of the words for American Made from Hogan's promo at the King of the Ring 1993.
-
@ChazmaniacTV Interesting. I have heard that he wrote (and sang?!) both American Made and Real American, but obviously WWE owns Real American.

@Ant1Live Jimmy Hart I believe.

@DjMcLeod2k9 that's a really horrible thing to say

@BreakingImageFilms that cost more money which he doesn't have
Hogan really loves this business! Over 60 and still havin matches! I know he probably did tour because his wife took most or half of his money after there divorce, but I still think he is wrestling not just because he needs the money, but also for the fans and he loves this business!
