I love this weather, these autenthic soft winds in the summer. It is exactly this weather today where I live (Holland), and I thought of this scene from bambi.

I feel like calling my girlfriend and go sailing and find some meadow like this to run through....

Im such a wusss.....

Bambi has always been my favorite movie; i just watched it that much when I was a kid. I used to think this scene was scary, what with the music whooshing and blowing like haunted wind in the dark.

but now that i look back and i'm all grown up, this is a very beautiful moment. what couple doesn't want to frolick alone in the dark together? and the music makes it sound like destiny. it's unique and different and makes me think of bells tolling fate.

@manwithouthat44 No you're not, I did that very thing 2 weeks ago with mine. Only we didn't sail, we drove my atv (I live in Canada) for more than three hours (running out of gas). Then we hiked to the nearest gas station, got back, but before heading back, I mentioned this part of Bambi. She thought it a most appropriate time for nostalgia...
