This is my all-time absolute favorite song. And Ricky Lee Jones is one of my two all-time favorite artists (the only other one I'd put up there is Joni Mitchell). So wonderful to see all of these videos of her posted on youtube- thank you everyone!!

do you not like it? i mean i actually can't tell. you're saying she sounds like she's complaining childishly, and you're saying her CDs should be sold alongside tampons, but she's a great singer in your opinion. is that a 'you like her' or a 'she's not good'? like, i'm not trying to say anything, just curious as to what you mean. and when you say her CDs should be sold alongside tampons, does that mean they're cheap and bad, or that they should be made more available?

I've always liked this, it's a pity about the recording.

her voice is like a tired child complaining sometimes but she is still a great singer - a touch of Randy Newman's speech impediment and style there too. Her CDs should be in dispensers along with tampax in co-ed dorms.
