Hahaha! Laugh at yourself for being an idiot! That range of sound you've mentioned is for the measurement of what human ears can sense. Sound is measured in many hertz e.g. deHz, hHz, KHz, MHz, GHz, etc., which are all in accordance to measurement of how many cycles a sound wave makes per second.
