  • I have been looking for a performance exhaust system for my Eldo but the sites the I go to nobody has anything for them. I have a 97 Eldo ETC by the way. Where did you get yours from?

  • The only cat back that was ever produced for these was from bassani...and they stoped making them a long time ago...Mine is completely custom

  • let me know how you put in the cold air intake cuz i wanna do the same to my ETC

  • I don't have a CAI.. just the stock air box with a K&N filter

  • let me know what's the model number on the filter then cuz i can't find the right one for the box

  • It's the same size as a 04 Monte Carlo LS

  • Nice, chirps 'em in 2nd. Gotta love those Caddys!

  • K&N's don't filter very well at all, in my opinion. Holes in the filtration media in my opinion don't tend to filter out dirt very well.

  • chirp in 2nd gear, damn

  • Also, the spectre kit made a huge difference, my 97 cadillac eldorado has a great air/fuel mixture ratio now, and runs much much stronger, not to mention it breathes much better, you only have a 4 by 1 inch hole for air to come into the factory air box.

I have done...port and polish, magnaflow exhaust, iridium oem +4 plugs, cold air intake, and upgraded the injectors, gain of 47 horses, and no loss of fuel economy

    349 hp @ 4900 RPM

    367 Foot lbs/torque

and still registering 31.2 MPG Highway

  • @Antne11204 its the range of miles you will have left before empty (or before you hit the reserve which is 20 miles, but DO NOT do that, lot of residue's and dirt sit in there)

    :)

  • You can also buy the spectre air filter kit, all you will need is the 90 degree elbow for right out of the throttle body and honeycomb, to a straight extension and a coupler, and filter.

I however ran a angled elbow off the 90 so it sits in the middle of where the factory box (which got removed) sat, and now there is 6-7 inches of clearance between hoses, and vacuum lines..etc.

The kit costs a total of about 75-80 bucks.

    -Filter 24.99

    -Elbow 10.99

    -Angled extension 10.99

    -Spectre coupler 6.99

  • Dude i have a 96 Eldorado TC, what does that range thing mean on the dash?

  • whats the fastest you have got yours up to? i got mine up to 133 and it was pretty easy for it. but i just let off so im curious to know what other people have done with there's?

  • im buying a 97 seville northstar-same tranny-

how do u get that 2nd gear chirp?
