Metroid Prime - IS Glitch ~ Early Power Bomb and Ice Spreader

This is the coolest and most extrordinary glitch in Metroid Prime (I did not discover it). It's a fascinating, mesmerizing trick that is so wacked out but yet in control! =)
Here showing how to get a power bomb expansion before ice beam, and a completely pointless but unorthodox way to get the Ice Spreader (before ice beam, if that's your thing).
In other words, this shows two ways of doing the IS (Infinite Speed) trick and what it can do.
This can be done in Prime 2 as well and to some extent in Prime 3 if I'm not completely wrong.

@bulletsblood did you use the boost ball? or in the wii version, ball jumping is enough

It doesn't work for me. The IS thing is a piece of shit since it's impossible to "find the right angle". My ball doesn't rotate like yours and it just stays in one spot.

Worked for me, I had to aim at about a 7:30 angle on the joystick.

In trilogy they have tried to lock out this glitch

it can still be done but of all the times i have tried

I have only done it one time

there is still a spot that this can be done inbetween the block closer to the lava
