I wish I had chosen to become a scientist. I would have enjoyed it, even the endless failures :) I'm too old to switch careers, sadly. But, it's left me with HUGE enthusiasm for Science as an interested observer, some of which, I'm pleased to say, has rubbed off on my son.

I'm an undergraduate Physics major at UC Santa Cruz and I love this show. Scientists are normal people who eat, breathe, think, and act like anybody else (if not slightly more goofy, funny, and intelligent than most).
There should be more shows like these to better inform the general public and replace the old stereotypes of what "science" is.
