Child has typical reaction to anesthesia

2 yr old is about to get ventilation tubes put in his ears. He starts to get loopy after about 10 minutes. He can't find his colors the nurse gave him, the great thing is, they are in his left hand.

When I was tubed, I was full-grown and they gave me the option of local or general anesthesia. I told them I wanted local anesthesia as it's probably safer. The doctor was in definite agreement when he read page 5 of my medical history (sleep apnea). The only bad thing about the procedure was it was VERY noisy as they were fooling around with my eardrum.
