Tehran has successfully launched a probe into space - with two turtles, a hamster and a worm on board.

Iran also plans to unveil three new satellites on Wednesday - all part its ambitious independent space programme - which coincides with celebrations of the country's 31st Islamic revolution anniversary.

The development is a great concern to the US who fears that the country's nuclear programme is at a threateningly advanced stage.

Al Jazeera's Stefanie Dekker reports.

  • Righhht...it's Iran that sabotaged the deal to exchange the 3 hikers which they themselves proposed. "We don't negotiate" USA that won't even talk directly to Iran had nothing to do with it.

And what the hell do executions have to do with sending a probe into space?

Al Jazeera is a Zionist trash network run for Qatar's Jew-puppet monarchy.

  • the Iranian Aerospace Organization has made a lots of achievement during the last 10 yrs.and it's plannig to send men to the space by 2020
