  • Centaurus or Hercules?? I think the Freighter was Hercules powered.

  • Hercules it is!

  • Do you have long ambieces of the engines in flight at various power settings? I have been working, albeit some time back now on replicating from Freighter audio Disney's gave me access to, in-flight audio for Beaufighter which has three blade prop. Unfortunately there was little usable as the only audio was the mix-down effects track with other effects.

  • hours of it.

  • My favorite plane! not the most comfortable when used by the RNZAF though

  • I unfortunately never got to fly in one. I have over the course of making this DVD and the other two to come have started to find the plane a well designed and thought out machine. A great plane for her day.

  • I used to see & hear these planes come & go from Southampton Airport as a child in the 60's. I searched for vids as I thought I'd like to hear the sound that would remind me of those distant times. What do I get ?

    Cheesy music !!!!!!!!!!!

    Un****ing believable. How crass !

  • Thats funny, I never thought a Disney sound technician would have ever been overly concerned to that level about the sound effects cause quite often it is horrobly wrong on most movies. But kudos for thinking so on acuracy, hope that movie worked out well :)

  • Just thought I'd add that everyone walked away from the accident, which is the most important thing really!

  • Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this video dates from the mid-90's and this aircraft has since been written off in a take-off accident at Enstone in Oxfordshire. Going from memory it arrived back in the UK in '94 and was written off in '96. :o(

  • Lovely! Is it staying in UK? Where?

  • Hercules mate...not Centaurus but i know what you mean. Look forward to hearing them in the coming releases.
