Atonement - Running for Home

This is another video for atonement set to Matthew Good Band's song running for home. This is dedicated to all those Americans waiting eagerly for the release of Atonement... i feel your pain (i have yet to see this wonderful masterpiece). But, there's less than a month to go until it is released :)

I saw the movie on Friday, the seventh, and it surpassed my expectations. Favorite movie of all time. :)

I really appreciate any comment or rating, so feel free to express your opinion... don't worry, I won't be offended.

People also have to think about who is making these movies. Any american or british film is most likely not going to tell the story of the germans in a good light - that is just how our perspective was and is. It is our history. I wonder how german cinema has dealt with the whole wwII theme? I don't know.

Oh my god. This is so gay. Why oh why did anyone love this movie that was mostly made up by a young girl that needed some serious therapy. Too bad she didn't die at the end, too. Awful. Simply awful.

All we can think about how these brave British soldiers stood up against the evil, bloodthirsty German dogs. And we can easily forget their comrades, who killed millions of innocent German civilians during the terror-bombings of Germany.

I am kind of sick that only the Americans, British, and the Jews that we MUST feel sorry for.

I don't see how this movie is making the Germans out to be evil. This movie isn't about the war. The war is just the time period and setting in which the movie takes place. This movie is about love, betrayal, and forgiveness.

Don't forget that the citizens of Germany were ruled under Hitler.

I realize that not all Germans were evil but anyone who sympathized or even helped out the Jews and what not were killed.

They never really had a chance, sad but in the end people value their own life more than what is right.

So my point is, no not all Germans were bad, but in order to not get killed they had to persecute and kill others in order to live.

Nazis were the REAL evil
