Birmingham Semi 22-8-09. The second of this years Semi-Final's held at Birmingham Wheels. Paul Harrison gets the jump on Frankie Wianman Jnr on the first start, but the race had to be Yellow flagged and re-started owing to Tom Harris' massive impact with the armaco. Such was the impact, the rear section of the Rollcage was sheared off the main chassis rail, unfortunately ruling Harris out of the re-start, and the rest of the meeting. On the re-start, Harrison was unable to pull the same move as the first time, and Wainman Jnr managed to get away. Stu Smith Jnr did his best to stay in touch with Wainman, but had Paul Harrison large in his mirror. Harrison, obviously not wanting to finish third, catches Smith Jnr and stalkes him for several laps, keeping Smith honest. Going into the last lap, a last bender was clearly on the cards, and sure enough, Harrison launched himself at Smith, taking both off the racing line, and both having to try and out drag each other to the line. There was another roll-over, in the way of 136 Steve Jacklin, but unfortunately, I missed that one. Overall, not a bad race, better than the one held at Coventry... Frankie Wainman Jnr won the toss, and has chosen inside for the World Final.

I think they're all good drivers. Not really got a favourite, I just like the racing... Really don't care who wins what as long as I see a good race !
