RC Pro-Am (NES): Old Classic Video Game

This is oldclassicvideogames.com looking back at an old video game for the original nitendo called RC Pro-AM.
This is a classic racing game where you will race against 3 other computer controlled cars. You will race along
many different tracks, collecting power-ups for speed, excelleration, and traction. You will also pick up
one of two weapons. One weapon allows you to shoot forward, while the other shoots backward. Each track has its
own set of hazards that range from water which slows you down, oil which will cause you lose control momentarily,
as well as walls that will come up out of the ground at different times. Many tracks have booster pads on them
which will give you a big boost of speed. This can be good or bad depending on what hazards lie around the corner.
Lastly, you will also collect one letter on each track. These letters will spell out the word NINTENDO at the bottom
of your screen, and when you get all the letters it will reset and your vehicle will be upgraded to a new type.
There are 3 vehicle levels in the game. You recieve gold, silver, or bornze trofies based on your finishing
position, and if you finish in 4th you lose the game. There are continues however. This game is highly addicting
and gets extremely difficult to beat. The main reason this game is so hard to beat is at random times the orange
car will decide to gain super powers and literraly blast off at a super speed around the track as you can see here.
The only way to stop him is to shoot him as he blasts by you, otherwise you will be overlapped many times over.
At this point your goal is to stay ahead of the 2 remaining computer contolled cars because when the orange car
crosses the finish line on his final lap, the track will end with you in whatever place you are at that point in time
regardless of your lap. This game is absolutely fantastic and you do not want leave this one out of your collection.

Thank you! I KNEW i wasn't the only one who noticed that damn car becoming superhuman! It's like that car said fuck this and decided to the ground was two common for normal cars and decided to fly.

I remember being at track 115 or something I apparently hadn't reached the final level.

Wow! Do you have any idea what that strange game was called about the vegetable characters? It was really weird, it was about vegetables & recycling! It was really neat.
