A lovely chap called Jim, youtube user JimssWorld created a video asking some questions, I mixed it in with a video of me answering said questions, here are the results

Here is an abbreviation of the questions asked

1 ) are you annoyed that your school never picked up your condition, do you think someone should have noticed earlier?

2 ) when your in that ticcing state , is your mind still there, are you aware that your ticcing or is your brain just ticcing, do you think straight or does your brain stop functioning?

3 ) can tourettes syndrome just disappear in the same way that it can suddenly appear?

4 ) can you see why tourettes is funny?

5 ) can you alter the way you think about situation to cancel the tics or is that part of asperger syndrome that you cannot alter the way you think?

6 ) talking about sensory problems, what do you dislike most about people?

  • with all due respect to you. i'm curious when you dream do you tic?

cheers mate your helping so many people.

  • @raymoralesjr tics are incorporated into my dreams, when I am due a tic session, so my dream self is merrily ticcing, much to my annoyance

  • You were saying that drinking beer calms your nervous system. Do the tics also decrease as a result? And do you drink alcohol regularly to help with your Tourettes? :-).

  • @awferfuksake my nervous system is what triggers the tics, so numb nervous system ( numb everything else ) very few if any tics. however I only ever really need beer when I am in the company of others, no people, no beer, no tics, but I don't want to become a complete hermit, so the challenge continues!

  • For someone who has tourettes to a much lesser degree than you, I would say that my tics ebb and flow depending on mood, diet and sensory input. I can go hours without noticing tics or ticcing.

  • @Haeyena good job you know your triggers, my main trigger, annoyingly enough, is people, their audio output, movement and quantity

  • Thank you for this channel. I remember I was in the subway once and a person sitting in front of me was ticking and swearing. I was scared and thought he was just being rude so I got off the subway ASAP. If it wasn't for this channel I'd still be ignorant!

  • Brilliant mate. My friends 2 boys have tourettes and aspergers. Had it since birth so its great to see u talking about it and answering the tough questions that people do need to know. The 2 boys only have tics at the moment. But it is as u know painful aftrr a while. Keep up the good work. Your an inspiration champ. Ben from Australia

  • Ass Cheeks!

  • See the words you say when you have a bad tic day did you say them before you had tourettes?

  • Hi Guy see when you are talking do you feel the tics throwing themselves into your conversation and have you at anytime managed to stop them at all?

  • Hi, Guy! (From SL here:) I was under the impression your tourettes didn't "kick in" until you were around 30? What were the symptoms you displayed as a youngster? Were your tics different when they first started, and evolved to what they are now? Thanks, ttys!
