  • Great band, amazing song.

  • @GregariousGorilla No, what you don't get is that a fetus is not a living, functioning being. Therefore, you cannot compare my life or anybody else's to it.

  • @Johnnydotca The subjective value of choice can never be greater than the objective value of life. That is what you can't get. Essentially you are saying that a woman's financial woes or promiscuous lifestyle is greater than your life or anyone else's.

  • @GregariousGorilla How would I be able to appreciate life if my mother was forced to have me because of some idiot "leader's" religion? What if my mere existence caused financial hardship for my mother? People aren't always ready to have children. Some women/girls get raped. Should they be prosecuted for not wanting to proceed with the pregnancy? Why should we, as a society, repudiate the technology now at our disposal that can reverse such potential grief?

  • @Johnnydotca Why do you support something that you wouldn't want to happen to yourself? Appreciate life because it was your mother who had to make the sacrifice.

  • @GregariousGorilla Except for that it's a tenet in certain forms of Christianity — like any religion, an outdated system of beliefs used to control the masses. If you're pro-life, then you have to get with the times. It's none of Ron Paul's business if a woman chooses to have an abortion.

  • @Johnnydotca There's nothing anachronistic about being pro life.

  • @GregariousGorilla Seeing that Paul claims to be a "strict constitutionalist," there would be no "stray[ing] from constitution" if he were president. His anachronistic beliefs don't stop there; he's pro-life and wants to return to a Gold Standard. Ron Paul is as bad as the others, and this song should in no way be used to endorse him.

  • @GregariousGorilla I had the same thought. :)
