The temple is Khmer's. How come other races wana take credit and even claim that Angkor is built by their races. Learn the history please! Religious influence is everywhere. Hinduism presents in Cambodia does not mean that the temple is built by Indians. BTw, the Kings are not Indians, they just used Sancret language. Learn the history please.

@kmycherry India conquered Cambodia. Instead of plundering,looting and wiping out the population, like many of the islamic and European hordes, India tried to find peace and harmony with the local people and did not force their religion with a sword over the neck of the local population. That's why you don't speak "indian". The king who built Angkor Wat had an Indian name because he's Indian. By no way I'm trying to insult Cambodians. If i did then I sincerely apologise. India needs its credit.

Angkor Wat is as Indian as Hinduism itself! Why would the "native people" of Cambodia build such an elaborate temple and include another culture's art and religion to adorn it, just because a few merchants interacted with them? This is like saying "An elaborate mosque in Italy is found to be Roman, because Rome was visited by islamic merchants" Doesn't make any sense whatsoever! Sure, the people of Cambodia were involved in building the temple, but the source is Indian (Chola Empire).
