My cat does that comepletely the Same. He Just Mews all the Time. Haha. But he's old now :) 22-21 Years old. Thats Much :)

It's not must Maine Coons that do this, or other uncontrolled 'tics'. Touching parts of the spine can trigger some cats to perform automatic behaviors such as licking their front legs or making an usual noise. I'm not sure if the behavior is controlled directly in spine itself or whether it's stimulating the behavior in the brain. They seem totally unaware they are doing it and it can be pretty funny :)

My Maine Coon cat Ravi does the same thing when you scratch his rear end. He also likes to meow alot at the door. I put a video of him meowing in the video responses. He looks a lot like your kitty.

@TheCaciqueLempira You can easily get a mix that has coon blood in them at most shelters. No need to go purebred on these guys - their genes are very dominant and express well in mixed breeds. (there, I've saved you a thousand dollars!)
