For the last two years, we have been developing a short film project entitled, The Road Less Traveled. It's a modern day telling of the parable of the Good Samaritan. The central message of the film is the same as the parable; to show mercy to our neighbor. There is also an underlining message, which teaches that if a person says they love God, but hates their neighbor, then they are a liar and don't love God. Our intent with this film is to create a DVD Bible study using elements like man-on-the-street interviews, Bible teachers or pastors discussing the context of the parable as well as an interactive study guide and questions.
