  • Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful. I like very much how you reprised the first Bouree at the end of the second. I'm not sure if this is commonly done when performing these pieces or not, but whether it is or isn't that's a nice touch. I'm learning this on Cello for a college audition and watching your performance has been inspiring. Thanks :]

  • Thank you very much.

In fact, it is common practice to reprise the 1st bouree after the second. Same with Minuet 1 and 2 in the 1st and 2nd cello suite. In the 3rd and 4th suite they are Bourrees. With the 5th and 6th suites they are the gavottes. They all do that - repeat the first one after the 2nd - generally minus the repeates this time around. These dances are called "Galanteries"

  • Once more, I'd like to thank everyone for listening and enjoying this beautiful piece, and your wonderful comments.

  • Really nicely done. I was looking for this song for so long, to try to learn how to play it after I heard it. I wasnt sure if it was two guitars cause it sounds so complex, but you do it such justice, really great job. Do you also have the music or tabs?
