I feel where you comming from, but when you break each phase into sections while running, you'll find the race to be a lot shorter...ie.reaction, drive with long powerful strides..also staying relaxed, throwing your hands back instead of moving your arms. drive with elbow, then maintaining that speed after the 60 is a lot easier
