AKC beginning tracking - step 1 - laying a scent circle/scent pad

This is the first step in tracking as Julie learned when taught by AKC tracking judges, Orrin & Susan Eldred. Orrin & Susan have a book called "Fasctinating Scent" that describes their training process, and that Julie recommends to get the full idea of what is being shown. Julie is laying a scent circle and will later bring Belgian Sheepdog, Aggie, to the circle. Aggie will then sniff around after Julie tells her to "Find it!", and will begin to associate the scent of where the person walked with the scent of treats. After Aggie sniffs her way out of the scent circle, then comes back to it and eats another treat, Julie will take her away and praise her for doing a good job.
