Quite simple!
You create a new midi track and assign no VST to it. You can edit on which midi channel you want the data to be sent, and also by which midi interface (depending on your midi configuration).
Then your midi instrument has to have the same midi channel id so that it receives information.

Nice midification!
I`m really not familiar with SX-150 at all but it sounds great. I see it is some kind of stylofone. Gone google for SX..
