But even those that do don't always get press if the news directors decide that a bank robbery is more compelling than any missing child of any race. Several years ago news directors from many outlets met about this very issue. It has gotten a lot better because of that self checking. Stop being racist and speaking about what you don't know.

The amount of attention you get tends to be based on how slow of a day it is or how compelling a story is. A blond little girl will get more attention than a blond adult. A blond adult will get more attention than a Hispanic child because often news directors feel that they are more "sympathetic". Try working the media before you say such an ignorant thing.
