This was a group and song that I grew up with. How lucky was I? Just before I left for Vietnam, I had on of those "American Graffitti" nights. Some buddies and I went cruising all night, had a few beers, shot the s--t all night, did a little drag racing and played this type of GREAT music all night until daybreak, when I had to catch a bus for Ft. Gordon, GA.

what year was this filmed?

Gene was great. "Town Without Pity", A top tune. Also covered by The Dickies.

I love them and they sound good that's enough for me

This sure ain't the Crystals of 1963 in 2008! Call it what it is
a tribute over. Only we would love to be sure that the original Crystals
receive both the credit and any renumeration that they are entitled to.
And no smoke and mirrors in regard to their originality, please.
Great song, too. Almost 50 years of playing and it still sounds as
good as ever. Backed by songs like "And then he kissed me" and
others make the Crystals gems forever!
