Listen kids...There is a reason y the PIONEER CDJ is the industry standard. Dont waste your money on a "wanna be" deck. PIONEER CDJs have proven themselves over the last few years. Its as solid as a TECHNIC 1200. Stick with a winner. Save your money and buy the best. PIONEER CDJs!!!! Dont fall for a flashy deck that trys to compensate by adding effects. Listen to me and other real DJs . Dont cheat yourself!!

would you still reccomend the stanton?
-
@Djdeanthomas As long as you burn it to an audio disc it works fine. Trust me i own a Mk1.

@A7Xelite the price doesnt change anything. if stanton would sell their unit for the same price it would still be just as bad/good as it is.

No I would not unless you were only using them for scratching and it was a cheap fix until you had the money to upgrade your gear...

is that the 800 mk1?

@frct94
It's an MK2. The MK1's have black play/pause buttons. The MK1's are not worth buying due to the fact that they don't play mp3's

@theendtone
I agree that mp3 are not professional sound quality, but right now mp3 is accepted on pretty much any cdj system, where as WAV is not universal...it should be the other way around, but its not.
