@cromagnan I agree with that overall point. My guns are locked up.tight.to get to them youll need more than a hammer,hack saw or combo. I just do not support any level of government or state gun control to counter incidents like these,which is what always happens.Punish the strong for the actions of the weak.I support personal responsibility which is something you just cant always guarantee.which is why I always carry.Because I might meet that irresponsible person on drugs with a gun

@cromagnan Magazine. and I am not getting into a flame war with you. gun control isnt forced responsibility its forced totalitarianism. and your right,strict rules help,but not in this case. we have no idea if his dad was strict?maybe he was and the kid decided to do it anyway?kids fucked up regardless of blame.and the baseball bat ref.wasnt to say whats a more effective killing weapon,rather if he felt he needed to beat some ass,that might have ended better for everyone vs the pistol

The ones who are doing the right thing are talking to their kids, monitoring online activity and keeping firearms locked in a safe that requires a combination that is memorized and not written down anywhere. It's really not that difficult to make some changes that will save lives.

OK, I have a 22 cal Ruger rifle with a 10 shot clip, you bring your baseball bat and lets see who wins. Like I just said in another comment, you people think I'm an anti gun Liberal because I advocate gun safety? My Dad taught me how to shoot without hurting anyone or myself and I am teaching my kids the same. Strict rules are what keep us from shooting ourselves or guns ending up at school.
