Commando - Amstrad CPC

First Amstrad cpc game i have ever played/owned as it came bundled with the Amstrad itself. It was the tape version tho, and it didnt have a fansy title screen as this disc version does. Game still plays the same tho :)

One of my personal favourites, this game is way to difficult for me to finish!

@Misel982001 Never finished it either. Always got to that final stage and all the enemies just starts moving way to fast (at least for me).

@CholoCPC what is the final level?I have reached maximum to level 4....

@Misel982001 well, the game has 8 area/levels in all. Game is insanely hard so i dont think anyone has actually managed to finished it (without cheating). Xyphoe has uploaded a video of all the lareas and he actually manage to get all the way to area 7 too (and with a bit of hokeypokey gets to area 8 too). Of cause its one of those games that just dont end, so after area 8 you get area 1 again (but renamed 9 and so on).

I remember playing this game with my joystick and my mouth on the space touch !! My joystick had only one target button and the bomb were activated with the space touch so at the entry of the fortress i was completly blended face to the screen !!!

@nicobreek Ah yes! the pesky 1-firebutton troubles :D Never know if taking you hand off the joystick will save you .. or kill you, sigh!

I remember that I spent so much time on this game on my cpc 464 but I really did not remember that graphic was so bad:-) but I remember of the sound....very good souvenir

we use to try finish the game as often as possible with a single militard man.
