@NoHadithForMe No harm no fowl

@Teddy3inDC Oh lol, it does seem that I misunderstood what he said. I thought he was defending the idea that the ayahs are referring to disbelievers in general and that we should basically go kill them as we speak! Sorry for the confusion.

@NoHadithForMe He has a very good grasp of the history and the Quran. i think there may be an issue of clarification or communication.

@Surah72 If you had any semblence of knowledge on Islamic history you would know the situation in which the ayahs came down. They referred to a specific group of disbeliers and polytheists (namely, Quraysh and the ones who tried to kill Muslims) so for that Allah allowed them to be fought. Allah would not want us to attack random innocent people simply because they are disbelievers, that's ridiculous!

End the Dogma and Save the World!

Show me in the Quran where Allah tells us *not to call people disbelievers*, if you speak truthfully. This is a very general statement made. Please bring proof.
Do they offer you peace? Then leave them alone and do not call them that. In that we agree. Surah 4:94, 60:8-9
Do they attack you for your beliefs? What then does Allah tell you to do? Surah 109:1-6, 2:190-193
How much proof do you want? :/
How are you to know who to fight if you do not judge by what Allah sent down? Surah 4:105
Peace.

Uncle? Sahaba?
What proof is there of these people in the Quran as those who uphold hadith portray them as? Their names? Anything that deals with them, or the names of the wives of the Prophet? Proof?
If there is nothing to confirm this, I cannot entertain it. Surah 17:36
I cannot play both sides of the fence. Surah 4:88, 4:138, 8:49, 9:67, 33:1, 33:48, 59:11, 63:1
They may uphold belief, but Allah's revelation bears witness by their words and actions they are hypocrites.

Peace be with you,
"That is because those who disbelieve follow falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. Even so God strikes their similitudes for men." Surah 47:3
In this aspect, I disagree with you. Allah is clear on what is Truth and what is not. Allah is clear on the descriptions of the believer and disbelievers.
If they follow hadith, they are wrong. Period. Full stop.
Ours is to remind and warn. What they do is their choice once the reminder is given.
Peace.
Listen to Surah 6 and apply that to the Hadith
