@TeamBumpyJustin Yes this has been answered in previous comments. The turn player has priority to perform any action (summon a monster, activate a card effect, etc.) upon entering a phase. Your opponent can tell you that they don't wish to activate anything when entering Main Phase, so you can then use Formula to synchro summon. Also by declaring that they wish to end Main Phase they pass priority to you. I probably should have mentioned that in this video, but I forgot to do so.

You got really good English lol.
Question, what if I dark hole and they use formula and caius and go into stardust. Can their stardust negate my dark hole?
-
good vid dude keep on doing this, alot of vets take advantge of non vets esp in big events
-
how does trishulas effect work after torrential if trish is in the grave?
-
Another way to phrase it is that an optional effect (you CAN do this thing) cannot happen in the middle of a Chain.
-
This video's quite old, but it's worth noting that if your opponent goes into their main phase, you cannot activate Formula's effect to make a Trishula if they have not yet done anything in their main phase.

V you do not sound like English is your 2nd language at all.

ok one thing i have seen it that people have a Pyramid Turtle in attack mode and i destroy it then they drop gorz in response with its first effect and brings in another monster with Pyramid Turtle's effect is that allowed or is gorz under missed timing
-
@TheHeartlessSoul666 yup, cuz stardust needs to be on the field during dark hole's activation. when stardust comes out, dark hole is already resolving

Question: I have a face up Caius and formula synchron. Its my opponents turn and he activates Dark Hole. I respond with formula synchron effect to synchro summon Stardust Dragon. Can Stardust negate Dark Hole? or does it miss the timing?
-
@dragonsyth1 yes we thought it was like that too, but then the ruling states: "You choose the cards to be removed from play when resolving the effect of "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" so that means from the chain link we made, i have the control of his trishula then trishulas effect resolves so were kinda ehh on that

Everything you just said is explained by SEGOC. One sentence did all eight minutes...

@intch95 Please explain how the information in this video is explained by SEGOC.

@TeamMinoritySPG I'm speaking of the general idea. Just use the basis of it and add upon it. Yes given most players on here aren't veterans so I don't expect them to get it but still would be nice to see some good explanation. Not bashing the video, just saying. I'll probably start doing more DGz-based content because need to become more informed about this game as a whole.

@intch95 I appreciate you wanting to do more DGZ based content as I believe it's the best YGO forum on the internet, and they have plenty of great information that people can learn from. Honestly SEGOC has nothing to do with this video. Simultaneous Effects Go On Chain (SEGOC) is used to explain chains in which effects that activate at the same time. Example: Dark Hole destroys Sangan and Dandylion, both are destroyed at the same time, so they activate at the same time.
