Who said it was? I didn't.

I did not even say Menelik was an Amhara.On the contrary, I maintain and argue that Menelik’s irreducible identity was PAN-ETHIOPIAN and it was precisely BECAUSE of that he was able to UNIFY and lead his people to the victory of Adwa.

Had he really been perceived as an Amhara colonizer, as mainly the TPLF and OLF ethnicists now maliciously label him, people of all back grounds would not have then rallied behind him....

STOP this crap, Yes Menilik II was a great leader for organizing All Ethiopians to defeat a Fascists! There is no way you can weight the contribution of each ethnic group as was the case in our recent history in Badme. So Adwa is the history of Ethiopians & has become the history of black people!
