The Nazis (NOT all the Germans of that period) were a bunch of cold-blooded murders and crooks. Skorzeny was a bold pilot and a loyal servant of an evil regime. Whether that makes him evil is a matter for debate, but to see so many people giving Nazi salutes at his funeral is a disgusting spectacle, possible only because - I presume - Spain was still led by a Fascist (Franco) at the time.

@rampking1 It's called war crime or should be-Hitler must be laughing in hell.

@xelos100 Yes, and American soldiers executed German prisoners at Normandy.
Personally befriended a former member of the a Wehrmacht fallschirmjager unit who was captured and later tied to the hull of an American tank on the Cherbourg pennisula as German panzers were slaughtering our Shermans.
Not complaining or pointing fingers , it is called total war.
Btw, every Skorzeny German commando dressed as an American soldier in the Ardennes forest who was captured, was shot on the spot.

Una bella gittata di Napalm su tutto il corteo nons arebbe stato male!
Skorzeny was a man of honor. He was a true soldier and a true gentleman. Never acted with injustice. The Waffen SS had nothing to do with holocaust or massacres of defenseless, unlike just fighting enemy forces.

@xelos100 If you are referring to the Malmedy massacre that was units under Jochen Peiper's command and not Scorzeny's.
