i get the problem : "Sorry, a Gmail address is not allowed to be the primary address of this account."

Can i change that some how?

@NetronixTV I'm glad you asked this cause I am going to make a video today regarding your question in which I will answer it thoroughly. If you want you can see the video. To make story short, you don't want to change email to a google mail for the primary or you will have the same problem that all the people have who came to me here with their comments. Problem that you'd be stuck with that google mail unable to change it. Try Yahoo Mail instead. It's also free.

@MaazGotzeHazard That's exactly what the tutorial is about, how to change and not add email. Possibly you are not be able to access the Edit Email link in your youtube account and instead you get redirected to the Manage Account link. This happens to a lot of accounts (see my other video I just posted) But works for most youtube accounts fine as they don't get redirected from the edit email link to the manage accounts link.

@arcastrillo Everybody who has a problem with this cannot access the Edit Email link and is redirected instead to the Manage Accounts link. This looks like a technical error on part of youtube. You should not be redirected away from your Edit Email link if you wanted to access it.

@TechnoDice You are on a different page. You should be on the "edit email address page" a page where there are only two boxes "new email address" and "current password" Please see my video and follow the description that should take you to a "edit email address" page.

@CoastCoreTV Watch my video again and follow the directions exactly. When you're on the Google Accounts page, there are 2 boxes, "new email address" where you enter your new email address, and underneath it there is a box "current password" which is your youtube password.
