Baron Prásil (1961) Intro

Here is the beginning of Baron Prásil from 1961 by Karel Zeman. This movie is totally amazing. Its creepy yet beautiful and practically impossible to find. There was a DVD made in Japan of this, and sold out immediately, and I hear there are only 50-100 copies.

This is one of Karel Zeman's work that is very hard to find. It was only released on DVD in Japan about 7 years ago, and about 100 copies were made, which sold out before it was even released :) I'll put more clips of this up soon.

I REALLY wish someone would release this film again. I did some research, and it appears a Japanese company released a very limited DVD of this years back, which sold out immediately, and i've never seen one since. I cant find this on VHS or DVD. Its really sad, considering this is Karel Zeman's best work in my opinion :) I'll put more of it up soon.

Yeah, this movie blew me away. Its so well done for its time. And the moods Zeman is able to produce on film is amazing. I finally found a VHS rip of this on DVD, and it looks great :) Also check out another film he did called "Na Comete" from 1970s. Its good too!
