Never forget those that were killed. And never let rest those that killed them.

Continued... We do the least to memorialize them. We give a medal to families, record their names, give speeches, but we do not leave a real way for them to be remembered through the ages. Data can be erased, medals can be destroyed, but a memorial lasts. We need a lasting memorial to the struggles of the many who have gone above and beyond, who have brought a new sense of bravery, honor, and integrity to all of humanity. We must remember them, for as long as we last and endure.

Continued... Many die, but only a few are recognized. We need a way to recognize all. But it is not possible, so we must truly have some way to memorialize them all. If we did, we may soothe the emotional pain many of the families of these brave men and women who died for their friends and brothers in arms. I hope one day, all will be recognized, and all will have their faces shown, in one central memorial. I would say it would be the least we could do, but we are already doing the least.

Please listen to what I have to say. Men like Major Douglas Zembiec die all the time in Iraq, Afghanistan, and all over the world every single day. Realize that. Men jump on grenades to save friends, take bullets for each other, run into fire to rescue downed men, and more. I just read a few months ago about one of those men. Ross A. McGinnis. He jumped on a grenade in Iraq and saved his friends in the Humvee. We need a way to honor all who die for this country, regardless of fame, or reknown.
