Ginger Snaps (Trailer/Music Video)

Custom trailer for the motion picture "Ginger Snaps" with backing music from No Doubt. I picked the song "Comforting Lie" as the lyrics matched up well with the scenes from the film. Such as:

'I am Jekyll, I am Hyde.'
'Oh, so up and down, so back and forth, so insecure.'
'Can't get this taste out of my mouth. Swallow it down.'
'I'm on the verge of tears again.'

The chorus ('hold it, hold it all in') represents the character Ginger's suppression of her animal instincts, and their subsequent release when she attacks Trina are shown by the lyrics: 'Oh look I took the Band-Aid off, did I take it off too soon? Hysterical confession, my big courageous move.' Which means she was trying to protect her sister but it resulted in the start of her demise.

Bridgette's character can be represented by the lyrics: 'I'm just a normal person, without those problems.' Which means she wants to be there for her sister but is finding it hard. In the end ('toss it away, eliminate, just give up) she decides the only way she can get Ginger to trust she won't betray her is by becoming her.

Incredible how Ginger eventually accepts what is happening to her... most people would fight it. My favorite Canadian film ever. They ought to make more of these types of effective films.

I never really understood why everybody are that much into Ginger. Emily Perkins is just soooo pretty that I can't take my eyes off of her. Guess I'm the only one who feels this way.

Ginger didn't repress the transformation. She was scared at first, but if you actually watched the movie, her whole mentality towards it changed.

i remember the first time i saw this movie, it was the day before i start second grade in elementary school, since than im a huge fan of this movie series, also when i was young i though when i was older i was going to marry katharine isabelle ( ginger )

@FlamingFoxes1 Insane killers are a dime a dozen in films. This kind of horror film is a lot more rare and that makes it interesting. At least, to me.
