In the first days of January, Chiapa de Corzo have the traditional San Sebastian Fair, the most important celebraion of the town with importants events. In this town, very close to Tuxtla Gutierrez, the capital city of the state of Chiapas, you can drink a wonderful and delicious beverage called posol, this is a mix of water with mashed corn, cocoa, cinnamon and sugar; this beverage and the tascalate are the most traditionals and delicious drinks you can never tried.

Cada año en la poblacion de Chiapa de Corzo, se celebra a principios de enero la tradicional Feria de San Sebastian en donde los parachicos y las chuntas y la algarabia local se mezcla con el sol, el clima tibio del invierno chiapacorceño y la magia y sabor de los tamales, el atol agrio, el tascalate y el posol tomado bajo la frondosidad natural de Chiapa de Corzo.
